We believe learning should feel personal - not like a checkbox

Denken helps organisations deliver smarter training by adapting to how people really learn.

We’re here to make that the new standard.

Why we created Denken

Frustration with legacy LMS tools

Most learning platforms take a "one-size-fits-all" approach—fixed courses, static content, and painfully slow to evolve.

Teams lose productivity, learners disengage, and organisations drown in admin just to track basic progress.

Legacy LMS tools simply can't adapt to learner needs or business goals in real time. It's time for something smarter.

Belief in adaptive, personalised learning

We believe effective learning should be as unique as the learner.

That's why we created Denken to adapt in real-time to every individual's strengths, gaps, and confidence levels.

Through intelligent data and diagnostics, we create personalised learning paths that boost engagement, accelerate results, and deliver skills that actually matter—no wasted time, no cookie-cutter content.

Need for better tools in regulated industries

In highly regulated sectors, compliance and training effectiveness aren't optional—they're business-critical.

Legacy systems make it nearly impossible to identify skill gaps, demonstrate compliance, or respond quickly to changing regulations.

Denken was created to give you complete visibility, actionable insights, and intelligent automation so you can exceed standards, stay ahead of changes, and ensure every team member is properly qualified.

Morgan Rigby

Chair

I have been involved in continuing professional development since 1988. I founded BLS (acquired by BPP in 2003) and MBL (acquired by LBR in 2023), and became fascinated with AI's impact on training following discussions with my co-founders with their unique expertise which led to the formation of Denken.

Outside of work, I am a lifelong Manchester City fan, gaining valuable—and often painful—insights into the ups and downs of life, which come in handy when I step onto a golf course.

Jackie Heeds

Joint Managing Director

Before taking up my role at Denken, I spent near 20 years as a partner in both prominent international and national law firms. This experience has given me a valuable insight into the evolving needs of the legal and professional sectors enabling me to bring a practical and client focused perspective to my role at Denken.

Over the years, I have been regularly recognised as a Leading Individual in my field and was honoured to have been previously shortlisted for Lawyer of the Year award at the Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse awards.

At Denken, I am committed to working with the team to develop tailored training solutions that support professional growth, ensure clients meet their compliance obligations, and effectively address the many challenges faced across a diverse range of sectors.

When I'm not working, I love spending time in North Wales with my family and friends.

Advisory to the Board

Prior to joining Denken, I qualified as a solicitor and worked in private practice at Pinsent Masons for 18 years specialising in commercial construction disputes. I then joined MBL Seminars as the Managing Director with operational responsibility across each business unit.

Following the acquisition of MBL by Law Business Research, I completed a handover to the new management team before leaving MBL and joining Denken bringing a wealth of operational and commercial experience together with deep sector knowledge in the sphere of continuing professional development.

Outside of work I enjoy travel, spending time with friends and family and trying to improve my French language skills.
